Have the confidence to cross a creek, and the clearance to back it up. FJ's elevated air intake and protected electrical components can, under certain conditions, defy currents up to 28 inches deep, helping you cross safely to dry land.
The FJ Cruiser's V6 engine pumps out 260 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. These impressive numbers are due in part to its Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence or VVT-i. This precision timing system delivers a broad torque curve across the rpm range.
Traction Control (TRAC) was designed to increase traction during acceleration, helping to give you more control of the vehicle in slippery situations.
A race-inspired Toyota Racing Development (TRD) off-road suspension was developed and tuned for the Trail Teams Ultimate Edition. This new suspension includes TRD Bilstein® shocks with increased articulation and high-speed stability, while the rear shocks are equipped with remote oil reservoirs to decrease damping fade. That's one rugged setup.
Rugged and ready. Get some extra respect on the trail with these TRD 16-in. gunmetal beadlock-style wheels with BF Goodrich® all-terrain KO LT tires. These wheels will make a statement on the trail, and when you combine them with rock rails and a roof rack, you will have everyone following your lead.
The FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition pays tribute to the iconic Land Cruiser FJ40 of the 1960s, from which the FJ Cruiser draws its rugged DNA, inspiration and design. A unique white front grille surround and newly developed Heritage Blue exterior give a nod to the heritage of this rugged off-road legend.
The FJ's available floating-ball instrument panel puts an outside temperature gauge, compass and inclinometer just a glance away.
Whether you're on the highway or the High Sierra, the more your hands are on the wheel, the more control you have. So FJ comes with standard steering wheel-mounted audio and Bluetooth® controls.
The FJ is designed to get out of uncomfortable situations, so we do everything we can not to put you in one. That's where the 8-way adjustable driver's seat comes in. Conquer the world from a comfortable position.
When it comes to music, the FJ gives you options on options. Its USB port allows for quick plug and play no matter how large your music library is. Or, plug in a friend's iPod® to keep him busy DJing while you handle the fun stuff.
Cargo space in the FJ Cruiser is ample by almost any means. The addition of a backseat split adds even more room while keeping your passenger options open.
If all goes according to plan, you're going to get dirty. And rather than getting precious with our interior, we've equipped it with easy-to-clean, water-resistant seats. They're good-looking, comfortable and ready for most anything.
The FJ Cruiser is equipped with side-impact door beams designed to absorb vehicle impact and help prevent intrusion into the cabin.

LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) provides an added measure of safety for the smaller members of your family. LATCH includes lower anchors and tethers on the outboard second-row seats and a tether anchor on the middle seat of the second and third rows.
Proper tire pressure is crucial to the safety and handling of a vehicle. The FJ's Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) 17 is designed to immediately notify you of critically low air pressure.
It was busy at Toyota in 2015. Although a few models remained unchanged, others received significant updates. The list of standard features increased on some to include a sunroof, rear-view camera, paddle shifters, and blind spot monitoring. Select models received a complete redesign that included brand new exterior front and rear styling, updated interior that added more equipment and higher quality materials, and tweaks that improved handling. Improved Entune infotainment was added to some to include a convenient touchscreen with an option of navigation available. On select models, a new stronger structure in front was added to improve safety scores. In 2015 some models also received some package revisions to include the addition of a new Blizzard Pearl Appearance Package and a Driver Convenience Package. Some of the favorite Toyota trim models received a new fold-down center armrest in the rear seat. New trim levels were introduced to the lineup of some with added ornamental equipment for a more eye-catching appearance. A power lift gate was added to the options list as were stylish new wheel choices. Still, other models were equipped with a larger assortment of off-road upgrades. To be sure, 2015 was a highly purposeful year at Toyota.
